The Ouzoud Falls drop 110 metres in three stages through a gorge full of olive groves and old watermills, with a resident colony of wild Barbary macaques along the upper trail. A shared minibus leaves Marrakech each morning; you walk down to the base, take the small boat under the spray, and are back in the city by evening.
Depart Marrakech around 8:00 am, arriving Ouzoud mid-morning. Guided walk down the gorge to the base of the falls, boat ride, macaque spotting, free time for lunch overlooking the cascades. Back in Marrakech by early evening.
