Essaouira is two hours north of Agadir along the Atlantic coast. Its blue-and-white UNESCO medina tumbles straight into crashing ocean waves. Stroll the 18th-century Portuguese ramparts, buy silver Berber jewellery from artisans, eat grilled sardines on the harbour wall, and feel the famous Essaouira trade wind.
Depart Agadir at 8:00 am. Arrive Essaouira by 10:00 am. Guided medina, ramparts, and harbour walk. Free time for lunch and exploration. Depart 4:30 pm. Back in Agadir by 6:30 pm.
