Starting from Agadir, this four-day journey climbs from the Atlantic coast through Marrakech and over the High Atlas before reaching Fes el-Bali — the world's largest living medieval city. Cross the Tizi n'Tichka pass, pause at the UNESCO Ksar of Aït Ben Haddou, wander the Middle Atlas cedar forests where wild Barbary macaques roam, and lose yourself in the labyrinthine souks of Fes.
Depart Agadir in the morning. Drive north along the Atlantic plain to Marrakech (3h). Afternoon at leisure or optional medina walk. Night in a Marrakech riad.
