Starting from Agadir, this six-day grand circuit takes in all four of Morocco's imperial cities — Marrakech, Meknes, Fes, and Rabat — each a different chapter of the country's thousand-year history. From the rose city of Marrakech to the labyrinthine medina of Fes, the monumental gates of Meknes, and the UNESCO coastal capital of Rabat. One of the great overland journeys in Africa.
Depart Agadir in the morning. Drive north to Marrakech (3h). Afternoon medina walk or at leisure. Night in a Marrakech riad.
